As the year draws to a close, it’s time to review what an incredible 19th year of business it has been for our Wine & Dine’m team.
We hosted the world’s media and many dignitaries including the Prime Minister of Australia and the Prince of Wales at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Our stylish wait staff walked the airport-fashion runway at the Archerfield Jet Base Hanger during the Mercedes Benz Fashion week. They poured corporate cocktails at the Will Valor, David Jones and Valiant Events product launches and circulated hundreds of canapes throughout the Museum of Brisbane Easton Pearson exhibition.
The logistics team have delivered and collected more platters and glassware than they care to remember (in fact if you find one of our platters lying around, please let us know).
Building a sustainable and environmentally conscious business has always been a priority for us and we continue to pledge our commitments to reduce our impact even further through a range of initiatives. It’s been a fantastic year for our charity partner The Mini Farm Project with their three live sites growing over 1,500kgs of produce to feed those in need. We are proud to support this incredible charity and look forward to seeing what they produce in 2019.
Hundreds of couples shared their special day with us in some of our favourite venues across South East Brisbane.
We received a trifecta of accolades including the ABIA Wedding Caterer of the Year award, Queensland Restaurant and Catering’s Corporate Caterer of the Year and Events Caterer of the Year.
Express Catering – the short-lead catering arm of Wine & Dine’m Catering – was given a face lift, offering an even bigger range of food, a smoother online ordering process and a deliciously better looking website and Facebook store at the click of a button.
That was some year, but we couldn’t have done it without the support of our brilliant team and suppliers. Thank you for helping to shape our business in 2018. We can’t wait to celebrate #WD20 with you in the new year!
Here are a few of our favourite shots from 2018.
