Meet Kate Dwyer, Office and Project Manager

Kate moved to Brisbane in 2019 from the Whitsundays, in search of further career opportunities. She started with the team back in June 2019 as our PA and admin support and in this short time has broadened the scope of this role to Office & Projects Manager.

Kate enjoys finding ways to improve the team’s processes and office life so the team are able to provide our clients with the best services possible. She is our behind-the-scenes guru and Express Catering go-to person – managing the daily orders and loves learning more about the e-commerce side. Her role is continually developing as she works closely with Ammie, Our General Manager to learn and assist with overseeing the everyday running of our businesses.

For the past 5 years Kate has been studying a Bachelor in Business part-time, having just completed she will graduate in December. Wine & Dine’m has been able to assist her with this qualification by providing a real business experience as a basis for some of her assessments.  

In Kate’s personal time, she enjoys trying new restaurants around Brisbane with her partner Austin, going to fitness classes and the beach.

Likes: Travel, fitness and food obviously!

Dislikes: Negativity.

Go-to beverage: Working in hospitality has really turned me into a red wine lover! Although a Cosmo is my go-to cocktail.

Season: Summer.

Travel destination: Queenstown, New Zealand or Cinque Terre.

Ideal weekend:  Morning fitness class, beach swim, a nap (crucial) and a nice restaurant!

Favourite product: The Canape Shop

Favourite style of food: Italian all the way. I could eat Pasta any day of the week
